Christopher front desk was awesome...very focused on ensuring we had all needs met. I left a bottle of perfume and he made sure it was retrieved

Perfectly clean place with exceptionally friendly staff and great view of downtown. Updated and brand-new rooms with cable TV, a refrigerator, and tea/coffee making equipment. Excellent bathroom, delicious breakfast. Great location - so close to Lawrence Arts Center. Set in a beautiful area just next door to a restaurant, center, and shops & restaurants.

Friendly, clean, great atmosphere, great location. Rooms are designed to make use of space with a great living/seating area.
Only stayed one night so everything was fine.

Women at check in very aggressive and curt. Interrupted conversations. Asked if possible to check out day early and she was so curt the people behind us commented. Would not stay again based on her attitude. First impression.....

The location was good but parking was a problem.
The parking was non-existent. The room was alternating too cold too hot. The bed while comfortable a person could feel every move of their partner which made for a sleepless night. The TV went out and reprograming it was impossible. The furniture was less than comfortable and looked cheap. We left at about 4am and there was nobody to be found at the front desk for some time. He never asked how was our night was, felt like we were bothering him..

Staff is excellent. Location is perfect for shopping, bars and restaurants. Love the history of Col Eldridge and his ghost. We stayed in room 506 which is haunted by him. We had two supernatural experiences. Fun ones, not scary, just kinda spooky...
Hot water on 5th floor took a while. Shower pressure not good on 5th floor either.

The staff is wonderful; the bar and restaurant are excellent (altho note that breakfasts are not included); the location is on the main downtown street which puts you in walking distance to a lovely selection of locally owned shops and restaurants; the street noise, considering the hotel's location, was unnoticeable; love that the rooms are suites- comfortably sized.
Rooms were insufficiently lit for my old eyes to read, although the arm chairs were really comfortable. Make-up mirror was a nice touch but, again, I found it not well-lit.

We enjoyed delicious food at TEN and explored the nearby historic district. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't miss the $5 martinis on Thursdays!
One minor drawback was the lack of parking options, made arriving a bit tricky.
